Club History

Welcome to the Scarborough Bowls Club on Cnr Scarborough & Sunnyside Road which is just in the centre of Scarborough. The Club has plenty of on-site parking for members and guests. Regular bus services from the Redcliffe to Scarborough and Margate pass the Club on a regular basis.

The Club has a rich history, since opening its doors for the first time in 1952. Tenacity and hard work have resulted in a facility which enhances the quality of life for members, guests and the community in general. The all purpose Hall is ideal for any occasion, fully catered and seats 150 people.

If you are interested in learning to bowl we have fully qualified coaches on hand to give you free lessons and supply you with all the equipment you require (except flat soled shoes).

Whether you are interested in playing bowls seriously or as a pleasant diversion, wish to relax after work and/or catch up with friends for a drink, we look forward to welcoming you
